The short version. FoodyMerge is a single-player offline game. We don't make you sign in, we don't have a server, we don't sell anything you do in the game. Four external services touch the game — Apple/Google for purchases, Google AdMob for the optional ads you choose to watch, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, RevenueCat to keep your purchases in sync across devices. Each one is explained below.
1. Who we are
FoodyMerge is published by Inceptyon Labs LLC, a limited liability company organized in the state of Florida, USA. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Inceptyon Labs LLC. “You” means the person playing the game.

2. What we collect — the short table
| Source | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The game on your device | Your save file (town progress, items, coins). | So the game remembers where you left off. Stored locally only. Never sent anywhere. |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | Purchase receipts when you buy a coin pack. | Required to grant what you bought. We never see your payment method. |
| Google AdMob | If you opt in to a rewarded ad: ad ID, IP, ad interactions. | To show the ad and confirm you saw it. |
| Firebase Crashlytics | If the game crashes: stack trace, device model, OS version, anonymous installation ID. | To find and fix the bug. |
| RevenueCat | An anonymous user ID + your purchase history. | To keep your purchases working if you reinstall or move to a new device. |
Nothing else. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifying information. The game itself does not require a sign-in.
3. The detailed version
3.1 The game on your device
When you play FoodyMerge, your progress (town state, owned items, coins) is saved locally on your device. We do not upload your save data to any server. If you delete the app, the save is gone.
3.2 Purchases
If you buy an in-app purchase (a coin pack, a basket pack), the transaction is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase and an anonymous transaction ID. We never see your payment method, billing address, or any other financial information.
To keep your purchases working across devices — so if you reinstall the app or move from iPhone to iPad, your purchases come back — we use RevenueCat as a thin layer that records what you bought. RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous identifier we generate for your device
- The purchase receipt from Apple/Google
RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
3.3 Opt-in rewarded ads
You will never see an ad you didn't ask for. There are no banners, no interstitials, no full-screen video on launch. The only ads in FoodyMerge are rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus (an extra basket, a coin tip).
If you tap “Watch ad,” the ad is served by Google AdMob. AdMob receives:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android — both resettable in your device settings)
- Your approximate IP-based location
- Ad interaction events (impression, click, completion)
Google uses this information to choose which ad to show and to confirm you saw it. We receive only a confirmation that the ad played so we can grant your reward.
Google AdMob privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
You can stop personalized ads at any time by going to:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → toggle off “Personalized Ads”
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → toggle on “Opt out of Ads Personalization”
If you never tap “Watch ad,” AdMob does not receive any data from your device through FoodyMerge.
3.4 Crash reports
If FoodyMerge crashes while you are playing, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a crash report so we can fix the bug. The report includes:
- The stack trace of the crash
- Your device model (e.g., “iPhone 15 Pro”)
- Your OS version (e.g., “iOS 18.2”)
- The app version
- An anonymous installation ID
The report does not include your save data, items, town name, or any other gameplay information.

4. Children's privacy
FoodyMerge is designed to be safe for children to play, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
When a child plays FoodyMerge:
- The game requires no account and asks for no personal information.
- Rewarded ads are opt-in. If you'd like to disable them entirely for a child, simply don't tap “Watch ad” — there is no way for the game to show one without that explicit tap. We are looking into a parental settings switch for an upcoming release.
- In-app purchases on iOS “Ask to Buy” and Google Play Family Library setups require parental approval — that is between you, your family, and the App Store / Google Play.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has triggered data collection by AdMob, Crashlytics, or RevenueCat and you'd like that data deleted, email [email protected] and we will initiate deletion requests on your behalf.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation as it applies to children (GDPR-K).
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Know what we collect about you (this page).
- Access your data. Since we don't store anything personally identifying about you ourselves, there's typically nothing for us to retrieve — but if you have outstanding AdMob, Crashlytics, or RevenueCat records, email us and we will initiate access requests on your behalf.
- Delete your data. Uninstalling the app removes all local save data. To delete crash reports or rewarded-ad data, email [email protected]. We will action your request within 30 days.
- Object to processing — you can do this at any time by uninstalling the app and not using opt-in ads.
EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
6. Data retention
- Save data: lives on your device until you delete the app.
- Crash reports: retained by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, then deleted.
- AdMob events: retained per Google's standard ad data retention policy (currently 13 months for personalization signals).
- RevenueCat purchase records: retained as long as the purchase is valid, or up to 7 years for tax and audit purposes.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit between FoodyMerge and the third-party services listed above. Save data on your device is protected by your device's standard application sandboxing.
No security measure is perfect. If you become aware of a security issue with FoodyMerge, please email [email protected].
8. International users
FoodyMerge is operated from the United States. By using the game, you understand that your data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. For transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA to the U.S., we rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the game's “What's New” notes.
